THE ALICE NETWORK W.UKRAIŃSKA, KATE QUINN

This novel is about the courage and resilience of women, their self-sacrifice for their country and loyal friends, and the double standards they faced during the war. Two downtrodden yet courageous women are bound together by a brutal struggle for survival and a common enemy. The horrors of war did not destroy them; instead, they made them stronger. Now the heroines are ready to do anything to take revenge on their enemy and regain hope for the future. This book is a journey through complex and dangerous times, when courageous women tried to rebuild their lives in the postwar years and, sifting through their past, sought the truth within it.
